BAND HISTORY
Indecision 2.5 (2023)
With the retirement of two of our founding members, Don Polcaro and John Batista (aka JB), the new lineup introduced Johnny Z on drums & percussion, and Rich Gentile on Bass. The departure of Don and JB meant a rebranding with new concept and logo but without a name change. We were now "inDecision"...no longer undecided, but in the process of making a decision sometime soon :).
Indecision 2.0 (2021)
After the "Covid-19 stupidity" Steve came onboard to complete the original Obsession lineup, and we had a new lead guitar/keyboard player. Danny Feltch, came onboard and things really started to take off. Rehearsing all through 2021 and building three sets of material set us up to play through all through 2022 and gain our following.
Indecision 1.5 (2019)
2019 brought a new lead guitarist (Michael T) and several more shows to our schedule.
Indecision 1.0 (2018)
Fast forward (for those of you that remember cassette tapes) 35 years later...three of the original four members of Obsession reconnect (just the students without Mr. T) and things started back up. We added a lead guitarist (Eric) in early 2018 and rebranded as "Indecision" because we couldn't agree on a new name. We added "keys" with Tim later in 2018 and we started playing odds & end shows.
In the Beginning there was Obsession (1983)
The band's origins can be traced back to 1983 under the name Obsession. That band was assembled for the sole purpose of playing at Somerville High School Talent Night. The lineup consisted of three high school students who had not previously known each other and one cool young science teacher that had them in class. That cool teacher was Steve Tuccelli (aka Mr. T, before the A-Team). Mr. T was so beloved by all students at the high school, there was no way this band was not going to "go over" that night.
